Responsibilities:

Website Management:

• Maintain and update the company website on Wix, ensuring all content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with branding guidelines.

• Optimize the website for performance, including loading speed, mobile responsiveness, and SEO.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement fixes quickly to minimize downtime.

 

Content Development:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to upload and manage blog posts, events, and other updates.

• Create visually appealing and functional web pages using Wix’s tools, incorporating dynamic elements where necessary.

• Ensure the website reflects Maloba Consulting’s mission and professionalism through modern design and user-friendly navigation.

 

Feature Implementation:

• Develop and integrate new features, such as forms, booking systems, and interactive tools, to enhance the website’s functionality.

• Customize Wix templates to meet specific project requirements and user needs.

 

Analytics & Reporting:

• Set up and monitor analytics tools to track website traffic, user behavior, and engagement metrics.

• Provide regular reports on website performance and recommend improvements.

 

Collaboration:

• Work closely with internal teams to understand their website needs and implement changes accordingly.

• Assist in brainstorming and executing web-based campaigns or landing pages for specific initiatives.

 

Quality Assurance:

• Conduct regular testing to ensure the website is free of bugs and functions seamlessly across devices and browsers.

• Maintain a high standard of visual design and usability for all website elements.

Requirements:

• Education:

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Web Development, Computer Science, Design, or a related field.

• Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with Wix website development is preferred.

  • Portfolio showcasing previous Wix projects or similar web development work is highly recommended.

• Skills:

  • Proficiency in Wix, including advanced features like dynamic pages, Wix Code (Velo), and app integrations.

  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.

  • Familiarity with SEO principles and tools.

  • Strong eye for design and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
