RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Video Editing:

  • Edit raw footage into high-quality videos for promotional content, event highlights, startup founder interviews, and program updates.

  • Ensure all videos align with the brand’s visual style and tone.

• Content Creation:

  • Assist the creative team in producing videos for social media platforms, YouTube, websites, and presentations.

  • Work on a variety of video types, including short-form content (for social media) and long-form content (for case studies or events).

• Graphic Integration:

  • Add motion graphics, lower thirds, titles, and visual effects to enhance video content.

  • Ensure proper integration of audio, captions, and other elements in post-production.

• Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the marketing and communications teams to develop engaging video content that supports campaigns.

  • Coordinate with other creative team members to ensure consistency in style and quality across projects.

• Asset Management:

  • Organize and manage video assets, including archiving footage, maintaining version control, and managing raw and edited files.

  • Ensure that all assets are backed up and easily accessible for future use.

• Feedback & Improvements:

  • Review and incorporate feedback from team members and leadership to improve video quality and storytelling.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new video editing software/techniques to improve efficiency and output.

REQUIREMENTS

​

• Education:

  • Degree/diploma in Film Production, Media, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience:

  • Prior experience in video editing (internships, freelance projects, or part-time work).

  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).

  • Familiarity with motion graphics software like Adobe After Effects is a plus.

• Skills:

  • Strong understanding of video editing techniques, color grading, sound editing, and visual storytelling.

  • Ability to work with various video formats and resolutions, ensuring high-quality output.

  • Basic understanding of audio syncing and mixing.

  • Ability to create engaging and compelling content that resonates with the target audience (entrepreneurs, investors, and tech community).

  • Personal Attributes:

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
